Psychic Attack Costs Political Election?
ROMANIA—The recent Romanian Presidential Election was extremely close, but according to accusations made by the loosing party, the reason for the loss was because the opponents launched as psychic attack against their candidate. Most of us would laugh at this type of a claim, but in Romania it’s being taken very seriously.
Remember that Romania is a place where occult practices are not thought of as crazy-talk. After all, this is the home of Vlad Dracul and all the vampire legends that go with it. And this has made people wonder… could psychic attack be an actual possibility. It might interest you to know that the idea of psychic attack against candidates is not entirely out of the possibility spectrum.
During the Cold War, Russian as well as American military researchers were experimenting with the idea that someone with powerful psychic abilities could affect another individual, perhaps even kill them. Some of the programs in this research are show in the book and the movie “The Men Who Stare At Goats.”
So the question now becomes, was this vote loss by just bad campaign work, or was there another cause? Any investigation would be nearly impossible to conduct, but that doesn’t mean that the accusations are just going away. Local newspapers and citizens are keeping the story alive.
The claims bring up some very interesting questions, as many people who support occult and metaphysical practices believe that energy is a powerful thing, and like anything, can be used for good and bad.
We want to know your thoughts? Can psychic abilities actually be used to “attack” people? Log on to our new Discuss @ SGRA Message Boards and add your comments, and join us later this month for a special PataTalk chat about this subject,.
Pakistani President Kills Goats Daily To Ward Off Evil
PAKISTAN—Maybe the Romanian election claim of psychic attack is spreading fear in other governments. It was recently revealed that Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari sacrifices a goat every day to ward off what he says may be the “evil eye” and ’black magic.”
According to a local newspaper, the goat is killed in what locals refer as “Sadaqah” — meaning “voluntary charity” in Islam whereby one gives out money or the meat of a slaughtered animal to the poor to win Allah’s blessing and stave off misfortune.
A spokesperson for the President said that this has been a custom that he has done for a very long time, it is only now coming out in the papers. The overall view of the public (that would actually talk about it, that is) was that President Zardari probably feels he has a lot to fear. After all, his rise to power was not without its questionable acts.
Again, a story like this gets laughs for most of us reading it, but that’s not the case with other areas of the globe. For example, a commercial airliner in Africa performs a ritual sacrifice twice a year in order to ask for protection for their planes from the Gods. In other areas of the Middle East, sacrifices are common place to ask for everything from love, to wealth, to more. There are even people you can contact who offer to do sacrifices in your favor.
