Every June since 1999 SGRA has hosted a Paranormal Conference here in Connecticut. The goal of the conference is to present the latest work being conducted in the metaphysical and paranormal research fields, but more importantly, to highlight the scientific aspects of this work. The conference is the real work behind what you may see on popular TV shows.

Members of our Conference Planning Committee have already been working on developing some wonderful activities for this year's conference. Among some planned events will be a special panel featuring several experts on the 2012 mystery, psychics Barbara DeLong and Pina Martello will host a "Night of Mediumship," our special "Writer's Block" area will have authors sharing their books on various paranormal topics, and there's so much more being planned.

This year's conference is set to take place Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13 at the Howard Johnson Conference Center in Milford. More details will be released shortly, and the 2012 conference website will be available on April 1. Be sure to keep an eye out for more information coming soon!

February ended on a busy note for us here at SGRA, but we are looking forward to jumping in to March with some great new events, planning underway for our June conference, and - of course - Spring will (hopefully) be in the air!

Dates have been posted on our Events Calendar (www.sgra.org/events/) for the PHD Psychic Fairs which we'll be hosting our table, and talks, at in March. The psychic fair will be held at a new location, the Marriott Hotel in Farmington, later this month so if you're from that area you can come out and meet the SGRA team, as well as get introduced to the fun of the psychic fairs.

We're also happy to be hosting another wonderful workshop following the psychic fair in Stratford on March 20. Everyone will be given a Zodiac chart, and we'll discuss the history, symbols, and meanings of the Zodiac signs. We'll also talk about the Chinese Zodiac, and some other formats that exist. Workshop information can be found on our Events Calendar, or by contacting us. If you can't make the full workshop in Stratford, we invite you to join us for our mini-workshops at the psychic fairs in Bristol, Greenwich, and Danbury. Mini-workshops are held at 1pm & 4pm at those fair locations.

We look forward to seeing you all in the coming month!
